Nouvelle Cuisine Japonaise -KYO Design-

世界で今、日本が熱い。クールジャパンの名のもと、古来より日本に息ずく精神性から発せられる造形美に世界が注目しています。逆輸入された日本の造形美はユーロナイズドやアメリカナイズドされた形で、私たちの生活に寄り添うように入り込んできています。この度はそんなクールジャパンをニューヨークからの逆輸入的視点で見つめ、本店舗にデフォルメデザインしてみようと考えました。それが本コンセプトの『ニューヨク禅MODERN』です。

Japan is becoming hot in the world now. “Cool Japan” the beauty of Japanese design based on the ancient Japanese spirits keeps attracting people from all over the world. Now we are surrounded by many reimported Japanese design in the Europeanized or Americanized forms. It made us want to design a restaurant of “Cool Japan” reimported from NY with the concept of “New York Zen Modern.”
